End of Burmese military rule a threat to birds?

A male peacock displays at the Hawga National Park, in Mingaladon, Burma.   Environmental campaigners fear that Burma's rich and diverse natural habitats, as well as birds and  other wildlife, are coming under threats as the country begins to develop after years of isolation under military rule.
