Among the many Trumpeter Swans still passing south through King Township are four huge beauties that selected the safe haven of Marylake, home of the Augustian Monastery and shrine, north of the village of King City. As long as there is no ice cover on local waters, these and numerous other swans, in transit, will forage before moving on.
