Golf course geese still have open water

While most of the small lake in front of Carrying Place Golf & Country Club is covered with ice, there a patch of open water with bubbles coming up from beneath the surface of the water.   Perhaps the golf course is aerating the pond for the benefit of wintering geese, which would be of benefit to golf course patrons who can enjoy the view out over the lake while dining in the clubhouse.
