Spiraea is finally in bloom

What could be simpler and prettier than buoyant sprays of Spiraea draped over a split-rail fence.   This scene was shot near the hamlet of Lloydtown, south of the village of Schomberg, in King Township.   Spiraea is also widely known as Meadowsweet throughout the earth's northern hemisphere.   Native Americans once used it as an herbal tea.   It contains similar medicinal properties to Aspirin.
