Mourning Dove youngsters get the hang of it...

Two fledgling Mourning Doves (above) watch as an adult Mourning Dove pecks away at seeds beneath a birdfeeder in my backyard.   (Below) the adult dove pecks away while the youngsters continue to studiously watch her.   At bottom, both of the young doves get the message and begin to peck at seeds on their own.   All's well that ends well.
