Jackal has a taste for Sandgrouse

Photo by John Mullineux / Caters News Agency
A Blacked-backed Jackal is seen hunting Sandgrouse at Cubitje Quap waterhole in Kgalagadi Transfrontier national park, which is located in the southern Kalahari Desert and straddles the border between Botswana and South Africa.   This area is one of the driest places in southern Africa and a waterhole like Cubitje Quap brings many creatures close together, for better or worse.
