Nesting Osprey
Ospreys build bulky nests in trees, poles, docks, on sheds and special man-made platforms.   They typically lay 2 to 4 white or buff brown-spotted eggs in their bulky nests of sticks and debris.   They nest near fresh or salt water and thier entire diet is comprised of fish.  They hover over water, dive down and plunge feetfirst to snatch prey in their talons.

Ospreys breed from Alaska to the Gulf Coast in North America and winter regularly as far south as as Argentina.   They also breed in Eurasia, North Africa, the East Indies and Australia.
