Another seabird in trouble...

A Puffin is seen on Inner Farne, in the Farne Islands, just of the coast of Northumberland, UK., in the North Sea, and not far south of the Scottish/UK. border.   Numbers of the birds are declining and will be down 80% by the second half of this century.   The Farne Islands make up the Farne Islands Nature Reserve and depending on the state of the tides, at any given time, there are 15 to 20 islands.   Presumably, the Puffins, and all other birds, do not nest on the five islands that disappear at high tide.
