My first migrating warbler of the fall was the Palm Warbler, pictured above, which I photographed near the small pond at the entrance to King Creek Conservation Area, on the Mill Road in King Township, several kilometres north of Toronto. The same small pond had several Wood Ducks, mostly females and a couple of males (photo below).
