The Biaki Eclectus Parrots pictured above were rescued from illegal smugglers, at the Natural Resources Conservation Centre in Bandung, Indonesia. The female and male are remarkably unalike in colouration, with the female being primarily red and blue and the male being primarily green. Before being released back into the wild, they be rehabilitated in order that they can fend for themselves in mountainous jungles.
