I admit I was fooled for a couple of minutes, but once I got it in my 300 mm lens, and I realized it was frozen in position, it came to me that I was looking at a decoy. It's on one of the three Glenville ponds, on Dufferin Street, where Trumpeter Swans have been raised for several years. There must be some connection, but it's a mystery to me for the moment.
