Hummingbirds gone

The last two Ruby-Throated Hummingsbirds (females) have left our backyard and I presume headed south to Miami Beach and other warm destinations.   The September 22nd departure was a full 9 days longer than last year.   I hate to see them leave but I wish them well.   As always, they were a highlight of the summer.
