An adult Mourning Dove (above) is watched by two fledglings as it selects seeds to eat, beneath a bird-feeder. (Below) she ignores the young birds and continues her own feeding ritual while her young watch her studiously. In the bottom photo both of the youngsters have got the message and are starting to peck at seeds.
All's well that ends well.
