I commented in this space five days ago about not having seen any White-crowned Sparrows yet. But today a pair of them showed up (one is seen above). But I still have not seen any White-throated Sparrows which are usually a few days ahead of the 'White-crowns'. And we still have a cool wet week ahead. Come-on spring!
