Perfectly poised perch

This photo was submitted to the GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2014 contest and was short-listed in the bird category by Society of German Nature Photographers.   The photograph of a small bird perched on the tip of a cattail was labelled 'Dangerous Position'.   To me it looks quite settled.
