According to my copy of Kenn Kaufman's BIRDS of North America, there are no surviving native members  of the parrot family in the U.S.   Plus the Carolina Parakeet is extinct and the Thick-billed Parrot no longer occurs naturally.
That is not to say that there are no parrots and parakeets, etc. flying about the U.S., particularly in southern states like Florida, Arizona, California, Texas, etc.
However many escaped cage-birds are flying about in the lower U.S., and forming established feral nesting populations.
According to Kaufmann's guide there are as many as 16 species of these types of birds frequently seen.
