"Excuse me...you're getting low on seeds".

A colourful macaw peers through a window of an apartment building in Caracas, Venezuela. The birds are a common sight in the city, with a population estimated to be several hundred. Macaws eat seeds, nuts, fruit, leaves, flowers and plant stems, and if you look closely at the the bottom of Arianna's photograph, you will see what appears to be numerous sunflowers seeds and seed shells on the window sill.   This must be a delightful way to spend a few minutes each day.
