I was out again this morning looking for Snowy Owls but once more came up short. Others are seeing them in this area but not me, so far. I keep reminding myself to be patient and that's it's just a matter of time. At one point this morning, along the Canal Road, I spotted something from the corner of my eye, perched in a tree. It was about the size of a Snowy or Great Grey Owl and greyish-white. Could it be...could it be? Rats! It turned out to be a large wasp nest. Oh well. maybe tomorrow.

wasps's nest?they live on winter time?i read some insects sleep or even die when the weather is very cold.months ago we heard a noise in our living room and finally my husband and son discovered one or two wasps were living at the wooden ceiling.how they came in and we didn't take notice?a neighbour even told me at there ceiling lived too many wasps and they came off with difficulty.in their village house this happened.now i am not in Facebook and have more time to look at your lovely country little animals Barry.i want to go back there to deactivate an account i have with the Yahoo Effie99@ymail.com account.they don't let me in ,no way.i am sure they took this account and have it full of advertissements and Chinese games, one month ago i found like this the other account Midiatis@otenet.gr.now i left it for good.complicated story ...goodnight folks for now.
